Many communities in and around Mbuji-Mayi have limited access to qualified teachers and adequate school facilities. The Teacher In a Box project addresses this gap by providing affordable, offline digital learning devices pre-loaded with educational content.
Every child deserves a quality education — regardless of where they were born.
Each 'box' contains a device loaded with curriculum-aligned content that children can access without internet connectivity. Community facilitators are trained to guide learning sessions — extending the reach of quality education to the most remote communities.

Community members are trained as learning facilitators to guide children through the digital content and support their learning.
Simple tools allow facilitators to track student progress and identify where children need additional support.
